Eric Goucher is a seasoned security and law enforcement professional with over 20 years of experience in physical and electronic security, operational leadership, and investigative management. He retired in 2022 as a Gunnery Sergeantafter 24 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, with assignments spanning the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan, East Asia, and Africa. His military career encompassed roles as a military policeman, infantry squad leader, and CI/HUMINT specialist, culminating as HET Chief and Interrogation Cell SNCOIC in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
Following his military service, Eric transitioned to the private sector, managing security for multiple oil and gas operations across the Marcellus Shale region. In this capacity, he developed and implemented security protocols, designed and delivered training programs, and advised corporate leadership on strategic risk management.
Eric has also supported the Department of Defense and international partners as a contractor, assisting InCadence and Crossmatch in the development and training of ARES biometric collection technology for use by the DHS, DoD, DOJ, and foreign military and law enforcement agencies.
Additionally, Eric served as an FBI agent for over seven years, conducting complex investigations into organized crime, drug trafficking, and financial crimes, further solidifying his expertise in risk assessment, investigative strategy, and interagency coordination.
His career reflects a rare combination of tactical, operational, and strategic leadership across military, federal law enforcement, and corporate security domains.
