Lew Knopp is the founder and chief executive officer of Templar Titan, Inc., a global risk management and strategic security firm that has spent nearly 25 years delivering solutions in complex and high-risk environments.

A former United States Navy SEAL and defense contractor, Lew has devoted more than three decades to national security, crisis response, personnel protection, and international operations. His experience spans military service, government contracting, and private-sector assignments throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Eurasia, and the Americas.

Lew founded Templar Titan to continue the mission that shaped his military career: protecting Americans, advancing U.S. interests, and helping people and organizations confront extraordinary challenges. Under his leadership, the company has supported security and recovery efforts following the September 11 attacks and Hurricane Katrina, as well as international crisis-response and personnel-recovery missions involving Americans in Egypt, Libya, and Afghanistan.

His leadership reflects the discipline of Naval Special Warfare and the sound judgment, resourcefulness, and trusted relationships required to operate where conventional support is limited—or unavailable.

A native of Appalachia with deep roots in Pittsburgh, Lew credits his journey to the grace of Almighty God, the strength of his family, and the privilege of serving alongside extraordinary men and women. He remains committed to the Naval Special Warfare community, military families, and organizations honoring those who have given their lives or carry lasting wounds in service to the nation.
